| | | Oklahoma Airways Company, Inc. - Oklahoma 1927 | Beautiful certificate from the Oklahoma Airways Company issued in 1927. This historic document was printed by Wesdanco and has an
ornate border around it with a vignette of an eagle. This item has the signatures of the Company's President, F. J. Quillin and Secretary, James C. Shults and is over 79 years old. The certificate was issued to James C. Shults.
Certificate Vignette
Mr. Shults was a pilot for Compania Mexican de Aviacion and Corporacion Aeronautica de Transportes of Tampico Mexico until his death in a plane crash on October 28, 1931. He was originally from Weatherford Oklahoma and maintained his roots in Oklahoma during these years. He was an investor and officer in the Oklahoma Airways company in the 1920s.
