in 1900. This historic document was printed by the Western Banknote Company and has an
ornate border around it with a vignette of a train. This item is hand signed by the Company’s President and Secretary and is
over 102 years old.
Certificate Vignette
The Indiana, Illinois and Iowa Railroad was also known as the 3I route. It was built from Streator, Illinois to North Judson in 1881, and onto South Bend, Indiana in 1894, The 3I would later become part of the New York Central Railroad.
