The company generates, transmits, distributes and sells electric energy as well as purchases, distributes, transmits and sells natural gas. The operations of the company is carried on in central and east-central Illinois. The subsidiaries of the company are CILCO Exploration and Development Company and CILCO Energy Corporation. The company provides gas service to customers in 128 Illinois communities.
