in 1929. This historic document was printed by the American Banknote Company and has an
ornate border around it with a vignette of the Au Sable Club logo. This item is hand signed by the company’s president and secretary and is
over 71 years old.
Au Sable Charter Township is located in Iosco County on US-23 along the Lake Huron coastline just south of Oscoda on the south side of the Au Sable River.
This township developed as an extension of the city of Oscoda and contributes significantly to the area’s tourism industry. The main attraction is the channel, with several marinas situated along the river front and several motels along the shoreline.
