Beautifully engraved specimen certificate from the American Photocopy Equipment Company . This historic document was printed by the De La Rue Banknote Company and has an ornate border around it with vignettes of an allegorical man sitting on top of a globe and the company's logo. This item has the printed signatures of the company's President and Secretary.

Under the names of APECO Corp. and American Photocopy Equipment Co. the Company engaged in various business activities, including the manufacture of photocopy machines. From 1985 until September 1995, the Company, under the name The Lori Corp., designed and distributed fashion jewelry. In September of 1995 the company decided it was losing too much money in the jewelry business and it set out to find a new line of work. The company acquired all of the stock of COMFORCE Global and changed its name. COMFORCE Global had been one of the subsidiaries of Spectrum Information Technologies, a company with a pending chapter 11 petition.

COMFORCE Corporation provides specialty staffing, consulting and outsourcing services primarily to Fortune 500 companies for their information technology, telecommunications, and scientific and engineering-related needs. The Company operates in three business segments, Staff Augmentation, Human Capital Management Services and Financial Services. The Staff Augmentation segment provides Information Technology (IT), Telecom, Medical Office Support, LabForce, Call Center Operations and Other Staffing Services. The Human Capital Management Services segment provides consulting services for managing the contingent workforce through PrO Unlimited. The Financial Services segment provides payroll, funding and outsourcing services to independent consulting and staffing companies. COMFORCE has fifty-six (56) offices nationwide.
