These course slides introduce and discuss the emergence of high-performance power-management circuits (e.g., linear and switching voltage regulators, adaptive supplies, references, etc.) into the marketplace and state-of-the-art design considerations and constraints as well as practical issues behind their implementation, from the system down to their solid-state realizations, adopting a top-down design approach, much like in an industry setting but mixed with an educational component.
