AFHS Genealogy Courses

We are currently offering a course called Family History Basics through the University of Calgary 50 Plus program. Classes will be held Monday afternoons from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, Oct 15 to Nov 5, 2007. This course is for anyone wanting to know more about how to do genealogy and covers topics such as census records, vital records, wills and probate and Internet genealogy. The AFHS also offers one-to-one help during break-time for those attending the monthly meetings. A station marked Ask Me is manned by members from the education committee and the library committee.
