Kendall was greatly relieved when Zach regained consciousness. With aid from
Quentin, the Slaters got safely out of the bomb shelter. Both Zach and
Greenlee were barely clinging to life. Kendall kissed an unconscious Greens
and begged her to live, noting that she, Kendall, had so much to make up to
her. At the hospital, Kendall updated Zach on their sons and Joe broke the
bad news to Aidan that Greenlee's kidneys were shutting down. She began to
crash....

Having just seen The Nutcracker, Lucinda, Faith and Natalie strolled through the snowy streets of Old Town as carolers sang and a dollhouse in a shop window caught their eye. Faith wished that the dolls could come to life just like in the ballet they'd seen; Lucinda suggested that at Christmas, such magic might be possible.

"I don't want you to doubt what we have," Eric assured Donna. Ridge showed
up and asked his dad to come home just for Christmas. "Unless you have a
problem with that Donna?" Ridge asked. Feeling cornered, Donna said that all
she wants is for Eric to be happy and she was all for him spending the
holidays with his family.

Chez Rouge, Maggie and Shawn went over the list for the surprise anniversary party he's throwing for Bo and Hope. Chloe walked in and sauntered over to him. He told her she had guts to talk to him after the stunt she pulled at the reunion. She said she thought he should know. "Your timing was lousy," he replied. She tried to defend what she did. They agreed to forget about it.

Sonny and Kate canoodled. After Sonny marveled at how she brought out the
best in him, Kate quipped that her house was getting bulletproofed later
that day. Over breakfast, Sonny asked her to spend Christmas with him but
before she could answer, Diane arrived and warned Kate to get out of
town, saying she is filing for a petition to get Ms. Howard's charges dropped.

It's Christmas Eve in Springfield. Marina stopped by Harley's place and
marveled at how cute her aunt looked (Harley brushed it off, saying she was
just going to work). Then Alan phoned to relay the news that Cyrus quit the
Phillip investigation for Harley, which left Marina confused. Harley left
and they agreed to see each other later at Christmas dinner.

Dorian asked Starr and Langston to go get dressed for her Cramer holiday bash and announced that her sister Addie would be joining them. Adriana arrived and she and Blair were both decked to the nines, but Dorian wasn't thrilled with Langston's outfit. She presented Langston with a gift and told her to go open it upstairs. Blair overheard Adriana say Rex was in Texas and asked what the hell he was doing there.

Katherine suggested to Nikki and David that they ask Jack to join the
lawsuit against Victor. At first, Nik didn't like the idea, but finally gave
in. At the GCAC, the trio made the pitch to Jack. "What started out as our
dream project has become our nightmare, courtesy of Victor Newman," summed
up Nikki. Jack said he wanted to go after Victor on his own but David
pointed out there was strength in numbers.
