Suggested ReadingPattern Photo GalleriesShells and Waves Skinny Scarf PatternFinishing: Outside Round, Fringe How-ToYou may wish to finish the scarf by crocheting a round of single crochet around all outside edges by crocheting 2 single crochet around the post of each double crochet at the edge of each row along the sides, work (sc, ch 2, sc) in each corner as you come to it and work 1 single crochet in each stitch along the top and bottom ends. How To Single Crochet Around Double Crochet Post Fringe: Add fringe to the ends, if desired. I added 3" fringe to the scarf (as shown in photo below) by cutting 6 inch lengths of yarn, folded in half, with one fringe for each single crochet stitch on each end. See photo below for the steps used in making fringe. Copyright: This scarf pattern is an original design by Sandi Marshall.
