Skipping A Crochet Stitch Illustrated

When a pattern's directions say to skip the next stitch; this illustrates how to skip a stitch:

Skip next stitch (white circle indicates the stitch that would be skipped). The next stitch to be worked is then crocheted in the following stitch. This photo shows a double crochet stitch in progress being crocheted in the next stitch after the skipped stitch.
