broker connected to Richie. Ryan talked to the man in the hallway so that
Jon could scour his office. Once Jon got what he'd been looking for
(Richie's life insurance policy), the brothers left. The document showed
that Dr. Chambers stood to collect on Richie's death if it was caused by
something other than a pre-existing condition.

Bob and Kim shared a coffee break at Al's, where they discussed pulling back
on their workloads, taking a vacation together and the chances of their
impetuous son stepping in at Memorial. Dusty interrupted to explain that
he's forbidden Emily to run any more articles about Evan Walsh, but also
noted that he'll never support Chris as Chief of Staff.

"This is critical evidence," Katie anxiously deemed Jake's video footage. On
his laptop, he closed in on a frame of a man's hand holding a gun and asked
Katie to make a print of it. She then called Brooke to tell her that she was
on her way over. Rick handed Ashley an early Christmas present.

At the pub, Bo and Hope mulled over clues about the gun used in EJ's shooting and agreed that Kate is hiding something. They suspected she's protecting someone and wondered if it's Lucas. Abe arrived with a report, the firearm was traced to a known gun dealer in Cincinnati, who sounds like a rough woman. While running on the treadmill, Philip fantasized that Belle.

Alexis stopped by the station and Lucky told her that he was worried about
Nikolas. Alexis reported that Patrick arranged for him to see a specialist.
Lucky then admitted that he's going through a hard time in the aftermath in
Emily's death. In the hospital, Luke awakened after having surgery and greeted Tracy. She
scolded him about going out and getting drunk.

On Main Street, Mallet asked Marina for her advice on investigating Edmund's
fall. Marina offered her two cents, saying that he shouldn't just give up
and assume it was an accident. Mallet surmised that everyone in town
probably knows Edmund's attacker, then mentioned how Reva, Jeffrey, Josh and
Rick all gave him the run-around during his questioning.

Todd told Blair he was leaving her and that she could have the money and the
kids. Blair made it clear to Todd that she and the children don't want him
to go. Blair told Todd that she loves him. "Always have and always will,"
she said. Noelle and Moe plied Michael with pie (they were preparing for the imminent
bake-off). Charlie arrived and they broke the news that Viki is gone.

Victoria. Meanwhile, Victor revealed David's love note to Nikki, who was
peeved that her husband read it. "It's a love letter written to my wife!"
Vic raged. "I had to read it in my house!"
