For the purposes of calculating last order dates for Christmas 2007, "Western Europe" includes the following countries:
- Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland (Republic of), Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Vatican City State (Holy See), Gibraltar, Greece, Greenland and San Marino.
About Availability
- If the item you want is not in stock, you must subtract the extra days from the last order dates above when you calculate the last order date for these items. For example, the last order date for an item with an availability of 2-3 days delivered to a UK address via First Class would be December 17.
- If you order a number of items with different availabilities, use the item with the longest availability to calculate the last order date for the entire order.
- We display an estimated delivery date in the order form just before you confirm your order. You can also check this date in Your Account.
If you are ordering heavy or bulky items over 25kg in weight, please note that the last date to place your order is December 17, 2007.
Ordering from Merchants and Marketplace Sellers
If you are ordering from Amazon.co.uk Marketplace, the above information does not apply. Amazon Marketplace sellers dispatch items within 1-2 business days of you placing your order, but total delivery time is dependent on the location of the seller and their chosen delivery carrier. Please contact the seller if you would like to know whether your item will be delivered in time for Christmas.
Transit times for Marketplace items that are shipped from the UK can be found below. For example, an item that's in stock and ships in 2 business days to the UK from the UK (1-4 business days) will arrive in 3-6 business days. Business days are Monday through Friday.
Put simply, here's the basic equation you can use to determine your delivery date:
(1-2 Business Days processing time) + (Transit Time) = Total Delivery Time
Transit Times
UK: 1-4 working days
Europe: 3-7 working days
US and rest of world: 7-12 working days
If you are ordering from Amazon's Preferred Merchant, Indigostarfish.com, the last date to place your order is December 18, 2007. See Buying from Amazon's Preferred Merchant, Indigostarfish.com.
If you are ordering from a Featured Merchant in our Electronics store, see Ordering from Featured Merchants.
