Admission of Internationel Students
All applications from overseas must meet the following minimum entry requirements.
1. Certificate of having completed 12 years of school education (16 years for Master's Program and 18 years for Doctoral Programs), the equivalent of graduation from a Japanese high school.
2. Evidence of having sufficient funds to study in Japan for the duration of the degree/course.
3. Proof of having a reliable guarantor who resides and makes a living in Japan.

DEGREE ADMISSION
Undergraduate Faculties
Graduate Schools : Master's Program
Doctoral Program
Applicants are required to pass relevant entrance examinations to be
accepted as freshmen in the undergraduate faculties or in the graduate
schools. Freshmen are admitted in April.

NON-DEGREE ENROLLMENT
[ Part-time Students ]
International students may be enrolled as part-time students to take courses at undergraduate faculties for one academic year or one semester. Part-time students can be awarded a maximum of 32 credits.
[ Research Students ]
International students may be accepted to study either at an undergraduate or at a graduate level for one academic year as research students. Research students study under their advisors and may take several courses related to their research themes. No credits are awarded to research students.
[ Auditors ]
International students may be accepted to audit one or more courses either at an undergraduate or at a graduate level for one academic year or one semester. No credits are awarded to auditors.
[ Japanese Course Auditors ]
The University accepts applications to audit the Japanese Courses held at the Seikei Institute for International Studies(SIIS). No credits are awarded to Japanese Course auditors.

Note: International students are required to audit more than 7 yearly
courses to be admitted and acquire a student visa.
