VOTE ON: Hatch amendment to S. 1561, Date-Rape Drug Control Act of 1999, that would require the AG within 60 days of enactment of the bill to create a special unit within the Operations Division of DEA. The Special Unit would assess the threat posed by GHB and other “date rape” drugs, identify the allocation of resources it is currently making for this threat, and within 180 days of enactment submit a report recommending relocations of resources the AG views as appropriate and make those relocations.
