Sat, 03 Nov 2007 06:55:46
Russia's Federal Atomic Energy Agency chief welcomes Iran's participation in it proposed uranium enrichment center in Angarsk, Siberia.

Sergei Grinkov said Friday Iran can invest in the center, benefit from its services and make a profit.

He added that Russia has already dedicated an area in Angarask to the center.

Grinkov said any country with uranium enrichment oversight responsibiities can join the facility.

However, he opposed establishment of a similar site in any Arab country, noting, "We believe that such centers should proliferate but they should be in countries with the technology to enrich uranium."
