Saudi King Abdullah is scheduled to visit German Chancellor Angela Merkel next week to hold talks on international and Middle East issues.
The Saudi King will be arriving in Germany at midday on Wednesday and will meet Merkel at the chancellery in Berlin, the German government said on Friday.
Middle East developments will be on the agenda and the leaders will also discuss bilateral relations, government spokesman Ulrich Wilhelm said.
The king's visit to Germany is part of his European tour that already has taken him to Britain, where he discussed terrorism and the Middle East peace process with Gordon Brown.
