San'at-e-Naft stops Esteqlal at home

Tehran's Esteqlal has been held by San't-e-Naft.

Tehran's Esteqlal has been overcome by Abadan's San'at-e-Naft at home to end the IPL mid-season with a defeat.
In front of more than 30,000 fans, San'at-e-Naft beat Esteqlal 3-2 at Azadi Stadium handing the Tehran-based blues their sixth defeat in the Iranian Premier League.
Farhad Majidi and Omid Ravankhah scored for Esteqlal in the 10th and 85th minutes.
Esteqlal midfielder Mohsen Yusefi was shown a straight red card in the 78th minute and had to leave his teammates with a 10- man squad.
In another important match Friday, Tehran's Saipa took down Paykan, another Tehran-based team, 2-0 to end its long losing streak in the IPL.
