Iran Navy to celebrate victory anniv.

Iran's naval forces will commemorate the anniversary of their victory in the eight-year war Iraq imposed on Iran, on November 28.
During the years of the Iran-Iraq war (1980-88), the Iranian naval forces along with the forces of the Army, the IRGC, the Defense Ministry, Basij and police defended the country and defeated the navy of the Baath regime at the beginning of the war.
The Iranian Navy guards three Iranian islands, the ports, the northern and southern coastlines, the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
Iran's Armed Forces Headquarters has congratulated all navy commanders and personnel on this occasion, announcing the Iranian armed forces' full readiness to sacrifice for the highest goals of the Islamic Revolution and defend the territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
