In the powerful fourth season finale, the Tree Hill High School graduates share their bittersweet final moments together. At the same time, both Karen and Haley go into labor, while their loved ones stand by. Brooke has a surprising reunion with someone from her past. Peyton struggles with the thought of spending the summer away from her friends. Dan tries to assuage his guilt by making a life-changing decision. And, reflecting on the amazing journey that has brought them to the point of being true brothers, Nathan and Lucas seek closure regarding Dan.
As graduation day at Tree Hill finally arrives, Brooke's guilty conscience prompts her to make an important decision, while Haley prepares her valedictorian speech.
Nathan and Haley grow closer, despite the recent scandal. Brooke wonders if a spark might be rekindled with Chase (recurring guest star STEPHEN COLLETTI). Peyton receives a tempting offer that could ultimately take her away from Tree Hill. Mouth reconnects with Gigi (recurring guest star KELSEY CHOW). And Lucas tells Karen that Dan is a murderer, setting off an explosive series of events.
Nathan fears for his future as past mistakes come back to haunt him and Haley. Lucas hears a shocking confession after making contact with the mysterious witness to the murder of his uncle.
In an episode shot on location in Honey Grove, Texas, as part of national contest, the teens of Tree Hill mount a rescue mission to save Mouth from his ill-advised road trip with Rachel.
Derek (recurring guest star ERNEST WADDELL) convinces Peyton to take a chance with Lucas--but, at the same time, Brooke is approaching Lucas about getting back together.
Lucas and Brooke, now broken up, clash at a post-game party, and Haley realizes that Rachel (recurring guest star DANNEEL HARRIS) is plotting to seduce Nathan.
As the lives of Nathan, Rachel (recurring guest star DANNEEL HARRIS) and Cooper (recurring guest star MICHAEL TRUCCO) remain turbulent following the car accident, Brooke celebrates her 18th birthday but finds it diminished by her struggles with Peyton.
While Haley is deeply affected by Nathan's attempt to rescue his uncle Cooper (recurring guest star MICHAEL TRUCCO) and Rachel Gattina (recurring guest star DANNEEL HARRIS) from the underwater wreck, Brooke confronts Lucas with her true feelings, and Peyton makes a startling discovery.

Product Details
Synopsis: Aside from their love for hoops, Lucas and Nathan seemed to have little in common. But the two young men are bound by the fact that they share the same father. The star of the basketball team, Nathan Scott (series star JAMES LAFFERTY) was raised to inherit his father's throne amidst popularity and wealth, while his half-brother, Lucas (series star CHAD MICHAEL MURRAY), was raised in modest surroundings, the only child of a single mom. When Lucas joined the Ravens team, his transition into Nathan's world created a love triangle with Peyton Sawyer (series star HILARIE BURTON). Although she was Nathan's girlfriend at the time, Peyton felt an instant connection to Lucas. Complicating things even further, Peyton's feisty best friend, Brooke Davis (series star SOPHIA BUSH), quickly set her sights on Lucas as well. And it didn't take Nathan long to notice Lucas' best friend, Haley James (series star BETHANY JOY GALEOTTI), an intriguing girl who helped bad-boy Nathan become a kinder person.

One Tree Hill is an excellent show filled with all of the problems a teenager could possibly face today. The stars of the show light up the screen in a way that hasn't been seen before. The characters all show amazing chemistry on the screen and the love affairs between them are all well-written and the show always leaves you wanting more. From Season 1 to Season 4 it is all and all a good time. Chad Michael Murray delivers Emmy Award Worthy performances in each episode and it is the best kept secret in Hollywood.
Just to let everyone know if, you never watched one tree hill before you should in fact buy it especially young adults i am 29 years old and i know one tree hill is already on the 4 season but i know i am so behind but i went out and bought all 3 seasons i heard it was a good show dealing with all the drama and scenes with lucas, brooke, and peyton. Trivia
Lucas Scott lives at 1829 Barnette Drive, Tree Hill, NC, 01982.
There is actually a place in New Zealand called "One Tree Hill". It is a hill that did have a single tree and plaque at the top, until someone chopped the tree down. There is therefore no tree there anymore, but it is still called "One Tree Hill."
Chad Michael Murray (Lucas Scott) and Sophia Bush (Brooke Davis) met on the set of One Tree Hill and married on April 16, 2005. They subsequently separated.
Moira Kelly was pregnant during the first season, so Karen was sent to chef school in Italy.
All of episodes are named after punk-rock songs or albums, in reference to Peyton and her expertise in the field of rock.
In reality, One Tree Hill producers claim that James Lafferty isn't a good dancer.
The name One Tree Hill was actually from a U2 song. The creator, Mark Schawn was listening to U2's CD and he heard the song One Tree Hill. He then decided to make it the title.
In the first season James Lafferty's character, Nathan, is often shown with his left nipple pierced. He doesn't actually have the piercing, they glued it on when he was shirtless in a scene.
James Lafferty is the only regular cast member to be the actual teenager playing a high school student even though he's already 20 years old by the end of season two.
Michael Copon (Felix) and Daniella Alonso (Anna) starred together in All You've Got.
Goofs
Lucas's tattoo disappears and reappears after the car crash. Most of the time it is covered though because he is wearing his basketball uniform.
Peyton's full name (as seen mentioned many times) is Peyton Elizabeth Sawyer. Peyton says to Haley at one point that Brooke has been calling her "Peyton Marie Sawyer" because of the way she was acting. Peyton then explains that the initials spell PMS revealing that it's just a joke between her and Brooke. Therefore, Peyton's middle name does not change at any time in the series.
Nathan is seen wearing a blue shirt under his white uniform. A teammate is wearing a white undershirt. In the rules of national high school basketball, it is illegal for teammates to have different colored undershirts as well as having a color that is not the same as their uniform.
In the episode "Life As a Glass House," Haley and Nathan are studying. Haley gets up to leave, she puts her bag on across her chest. A few seconds later she is seen, putting her bag on again except she keeps it on her right shoulder. And when she leaves, the bag is once again across her chest.
