Las Vegas Preserves

Clark County Museum
Located in Henderson, the Clark County Museum allows history buffs to enjoy the Nevada of the old west. The Museum offers replicated 1900's newspaper print shops, the 1932 Boulder City Depot and a 1918 Union Pacific steam engine. Also visitors can mining exhibit, a ghost town and a ancient pueblo.
Las Vegas Natural History Museum
A private, non-profit institution dedicated to educating children and families in the natural sciences, both past and present. Offers interactive exhibits, educational programs to instill an understanding and appreciation of the world’s wildlife, ecosystems and cultures. Located on North Las Vegas Blvd., adjacent to the Cashman Center.
Nevada State Museum and Historical Society
A state agency that offers exhibits and programming to promote the understanding of the history, pre-history, and natural history of Nevada, particularly emphasizing the southern Nevada region. Currently, located in Lorenzi Park on Twin Lakes Drive. In 2009, the Museum will move to its new home at the Las Vegas Springs Preserve (333 S. Valley View Blvd).
