Once your account is closed, it is no longer accessible by you or anyone else. Please note that if you have an Auctions or Associates account, About You area, or Wish List, you will no longer have access to your account for these purposes either.

If you ever wanted to order from us again, participate in an auction, or take advantage of any other features of our store that require a password, you would need to start a new account. If you simply want to change the e-mail address associated with your account or remove a credit card from your list of payment options on the order form, you can do both of these things online without having to close your account.

Changing your e-mail address:

1. Click the Your Account link at the top of most pages of our store.
2. Click the Change your name, e-mail address, or password link under Your Account Settings.
3. Sign in using the e-mail address and password currently associated with your account.
4. Provide your new e-mail address and click the Submit changes button when you are finished.

Removing a credit card:

1. Click the Your Account link at the top of most pages of our store.
2. Click the Edit or delete a credit card link under Your Account Settings.
3. Sign in using the e-mail address and password associated with your account.
4. Click the Delete button next to the card you want to remove, then click the yellow Confirm button on the next page.

Still want us to close your Amazon.com account? First, visit Your Account and cancel any outstanding orders associated with the account. Once you have done so, please e-mail us, from the "Contact Us" box on the right-hand side of the page, to request that your account be closed. Please make sure to send your request from the e-mail address associated with the account you would like to close, so that we can verify your identity.
