Sales Account Executives

Amazon.com seek sales professionals to help develop and grow our new advertising sales channel. Specifically, candidates will be responsible for generating revenue by negotiating a broad range of advertising deals. Channel Sales Manager, Amazon Package Insert Advertising

The Channel Sales Manager will play a key role in Amazon’s growing package insert advertising business by driving a significant amount of revenue through external agency brokers. As the Channel Sales Manager, you will educate partners regarding product offerings, pricing, delivery, and selling techniques. You will be the day to day contact for building and maintaining industry partnerships and relationships.

Responsibilities:
  • Identifies and meets defined revenue goals through management of external channel partners
  • Acquires new channel partners and develops their capacity to support advertising sales
  • Engages new accounts and grow existing offline business, cross-selling with the online advertising program as the opportunity arises

Amazon is seeking a talented and highly motivated individual for the position of Senior Manager for our Online Display Advertising group. The Sr. Manager will drive the growth and monetization of Amazon’s Global online display advertising business by managing our International programs (UK, Japan & Germany), negotiating master US advertising agency and other similar vendor agreements (e.g. ad servers, rich media, etc), and partnering with our direct sales teams to negotiate both worldwide campaigns and strategic deals that include cross-company coordination. The Sr. Manager will manage strategy development, day-to-day program analysis and related business development to maximize revenue. The Sr. Manager will utilize and analyze market data (conducting his/her own competitive analysis) to identify opportunities and trends that will help guide decision-making regarding existing and new product/program development, as well as enhance offerings in order to generate increased revenue in current and new markets

Campaign Managers (Online Ad Trafficker)

Amazon.com is looking for Online Ad Traffickers to be responsible for all aspects of ad campaign fulfillment: ad testing and implementation, campaign flighting, and monitoring delivery. These hires will be responsible for reviewing banner ad submissions for adherence to technical specifications, booking into our Content Management System and third-party ad server, and managing the campaign progress. The ideal candidates must be willing to work hard in a very fast paced, sales driven, dynamic and demanding environment.

Responsibilities

Ensure that all incoming orders are processed according to the specifications determined by the Product Development, Legal, Sales and Finance Teams. Test and QA advertising materials, which includes assuring correct display on common browsers, the creative meets site specs, and click-through works properly. Timely and accurate booking of campaigns in Content Management System and third-party ad server for a flawless campaign execution. Troubleshoot technical issues both internally and with Third Party vendors. Managing campaigns throughout the flight, ensuring delivery meets all campaign requirements. Reconcile campaigns and send detailed activity reports to all clients.

Ad Trafficker are expected to understand site ad functionality, including knowledge of all ad products available on our site, general availability and performance of each unit. Provide professional customer service to sales team, account management team, and clients.

Designer

Amazon.com is seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and experienced designer skilled in the areas of visual, user-interface, and web-specific design and development to join the New Online Advertising Development Team.

The designer's primary focus will be to conceptualize and design new advertising placements on Amazon.com. You will be responsible for a wide range of creative projects including website design, interactive email, flash, and banner ads. Prior experience in an agency or media environment is highly desired but not necessary. You should be equally comfortable in creating the concepts for a new design as you are in providing design direction or execution of the implementation of that design.

Amazon.com is looking for an enthusiastic, creative editor/site merchandiser to help make advertising on Amazon properties the best experience for both our customers as well our advertisers. To this end, the successful candidate will work with internal and external resources to:
  • Design and implement advertiser proposals, alternatives and final designs
