These are the films (part 1) in my collection and it is the crème de le crème of what films should be. Some of it may be the obligatory film but the reason it's there is because it is something worth me bying because it is more then just a pop culture flick, it is the essence of celluloid itself. I also don't hide behind films like Casablanca, Maltese Falcon, LA Confidential with the presumption as do most on these list. They add Citizen Kane just because it looks good, not because of what it is (a masterpiece). With that in mind some of these films may seem odd but all brilliant in their own way. So read, be amazed, be astounded, be getting your butt off the couch and to your local retail store and stock up on these flicks. Which I would so humbly call the epitome of DVD collections.
