Discussion Boards

Amazon.com discussion boards are a free service to enable you to share comments about products and services available on our site. This service is available only to individuals older than 13 years of age. If you use the Amazon.com discussion boards, you are certifying that you are old enough to participate in the boards.

What to include:

  • Your posts should focus on topics specific to the board and the thread.
  • The best posts include not only whether you liked or disliked an item or topic, but also why. Feel free to mention related items and how this item or topic compares to them.

What not to include:

Amazon.com is proud to provide this forum for you to air your opinions on the topics and items we feature. While we appreciate your time and comments, we respectfully request that you refrain from including the following in your comments:

  • Profanity, obscenities, or spiteful remarks
  • Single-word posts. We want to know why you liked or disliked an item or topic.
  • Phone numbers, mail addresses, or URLs
  • Availability, price, or alternative ordering/shipping information
  • Solicitations for external Web sites, contests, or other solicitations
  • Threads that do not relate to the topic of the board

A discussion board post is not an effective way to tell us you need help with an order or site feature. If you'd like to tell us about a specific problem, please e-mail us.

Product Safety: If your post is about a product you think might be unsafe, please report this information to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) or contact Amazon directly at product-safety@amazon.com.

Amazon.com reserves the right to remove any post in its discretion.

Searching Discussion Boards

To search for a particular topic, use the search tool on the right side near the top of most discussion board pages. If you select "in this discussion board" from the drop-down menu, your search will be restricted to the discussion board you are currently reading.

Here are some tips for better searching of message text:

  • Use double quotes around words to search for phrases. Example: "great barrier reef".
  • Attach a + in front of words that MUST appear in your results. Example: sting +police.
  • Attach a - in front of words that MUST NOT appear in your results. Example: python -monty.
