Individual Legal Assistance
What We Do

For more than 30 years, the Center's legal staff has brought cases to help ensure equal access to medical care, mental health care, social services, fair treatment in institutions, and equal educational opportunities.

The Center brings complex, class action litigation that involves important legal questions and civil rights violations, as well as lawsuits against extremist groups that promote violence.

The Center's legal department does not address:

  • Criminal cases or wrongful convictions
  • Family law
  • Commercial or consumer litigation
  • Land disputes
  • Individual claims for damages

Requesting Assistance
If you think your case fits the Center's criteria – class action civil rights cases and cases against hate groups – use the form below to request assistance. Provide as much detail as possible. All requests will be reviewed.

Disclaimer:
Please be advised that the Law Center's Legal staff is small and cannot respond to or investigate every reported incident. If you do not receive a response from us within one month, or if there are time considerations in your case, please contact your local bar association.
