WITH NEARLY 3000 STUDENTS, St. Olaf College, a residential campus in Northfield, Minn., combines a leading liberal arts experience with the dynamic energy of a small university. Forty-four academic majors, 27 intercollegiate sports, a world-renowned music program and a nationally recognized commitment to international study help St. Olaf fulfill its mission to develop and nurture mind, body and spirit. St. Olaf's strong Lutheran heritage helps it lead the nation in the number of graduates who have earned a Ph.D. in theology, while its rigorous academic programs earn similar honors in mathematics and the natural sciences.

St. Olaf offers 45 graduation majors, including 10 teaching certifications, 20 concentrations and 20 pre-professional fields.

Enrollment

St. Olaf enrolls just over 3,000 students representing 50 states and 28 foreign countries. First generation college students comprise nearly 16 percent of each incoming class.

St. Olaf is located in Northfield, Minn., a charming, two-college town of 17,000 people just 35 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul.
