| satan_is_lust, is that Gibraltar bass drum practise pad any good? I've been thinking of getting one. Also, if anybody else has experience of any others, I'd like to know.

| its pretty good. It wobbles a little if you hit it really hard but other than that it is fine
|

Here's mine...I'm using Trick pedals now though and I have a Tama rythm watch I'm borrowing to practice with too. I need another Gibraltar practice pad and I'll be set.

Yes I do, and I also put my double pedal on there for double bass and independence exercises.

Let's just say I attempt to do independence exercises!  Right now I'm working on doing independent stuff with my left foot while blasting, but I was only given those exercises yesterday, so it sounds like total crap when I try them.

Of course we like independence stuff! I love practicing everything but metal sometimes when i'm in a bad rut for speed or whatever.
More interesting, I like metal cause of the awesome chops and endurance you get, and the style anyway
