Hello Trym,
ive been curious about trick pedals but havent been able to try them out yet due to the fact that they are so hard to find. just curious if you would say that since using trick you noticed an increase in feet speed as opposed to when you played the gibraltor double bass pedals. i hope its not a silly question but i been really wanting to know the answer to that for some reason. |

First of, I never played double pedals, but I used the Gibraltar single pedals. And the transformation from a "regular" pedal and the Trick pedal is quite huge. With the Trick pedals, you have so many settings, and just a tiny change makes really a difference. The Gibraltar pedals feels like was made in the Stoneage compared to Trick. Its like reinventing the wheel, and the feeling is like nothing else. If you ever get the chanse, you have to try some, and also adjust them, so you can feel the big difference it makes from point to point. |

How did you manage to play on those Gibraltars for so long? Those aren't generally considered good pedals, hah. |

I used the Gibraltar Intruder II pedals, and they are quite steady pedals, but as I said, dont even come close to Trick`s |

I have spokent to many drummers that uses Axis, and they all say the same thing. Good for speed and quick responce, but they all have problems with parts breaking or falling apart. So far I have had no problem with Trick. |

i had an axis double pedal for a while, and they seem hard to get power out of. speed yes, but no power. do the trick pedals have the same feel? _________________ death; a faint whisper, but i heard it louder than a scream, silent to the others it was never a dream. |

I got the chance to play on one yesterday at my local store here...dear god they're fucking nice. My bass player works at the store so I can get anything there about 60% off, and I would fucking jump on them if I didn't have a pair of Axis already ordered and en route... _________________ http://www.myspace.com/antichristiancodec

i've got gibraltar avengers on my electronic kit, nice for triplets and sixteenths, but not much more. tricks are awesome, i'd easily trade in my ICs for tricks given the opportunity. _________________ At least I'm not emo.
