Advantage Professional

Advantage Professional is uniquely suited for:

• Publishers selling higher-priced professional, technical, and medical books
• Providers of educational content presented on DVD, video, or CD that is primarily informational, scholarly, professional or technical in nature and that is usually not widely available to customers today
• Non-profit (501©3) groups

Advantage Professional and Advantage share the same program attributes, but Advantage Professional offers more flexibility on discount rates to suit the needs of producers of specialized media.

To be considered for this program, producers must enroll at least five qualified titles and have the North American distribution rights.

Books, DVDs, and CDs qualify for Advantage Professional if they are technical, educational, or medical in nature, or high-priced technical or professional titles, indicated by a retail price of at least $35 per unit. How-to and self-help titles do not qualify for Advantage professional.

Advantage Professional: How To Get Started

Fill out the Advantage Professional Survey by clicking on the Complete Survey button below. Include at least 5 titles of a professional, medical, or educational nature.

Within a week we will send you an e-mail notifying you if your application to Advantage Professional has been accepted. It will include instructions on adjusting your purchase discount once you start an Advantage account.

If you have been accepted, please fill out the Advantage application online, read, agree to, and comply with the Membership Agreement and the Instructions & Rules, and enroll at least 5 items into your new account.
