According to British tradition dating from the 18th century and practiced widely in the Commonwealth, cavalry regiments carry one crimson Standard or Guidon, and infantry carry two flags -- the King's/Queen's Colour (national flag) and a Regimental Colour. Artillery and other units do not carry colours. [Introductory text under construction]
Look for the Standards, Guidons and Colours icon on individual regiment pages which can be accessed through the main regiments page. See also national pages (e.g. United Kingdom) for other useful links.
