2000 Silk Cut Award for LinoCut Prints OPEN SECTION Entries must be Australian citizens and over 18 years of age. Grand prize: A return-air fare to Amsterdam plus 10-days accommodation. Purchase prizes: An amount limited to $3000 has been allocated for the purchase of works recommended by the judges at the sale price (not including a commission fee) stated on the entry form. STUDENT SECTION Entrants must be either under eighteen years of age or attending primary or secondary school. Up to four acquisitive Silk Cut Student Awards will be presented. The winners will each receive a Silk Cut Award Trophy and Certificate. In addition, the art departments of the winning entrants' schools will receive a supply of linocutting materials to the value of $150 and $100 for the purchase of art books. Slide submissions close 28th April 2000.

The National Works on Paper incorporates the Mornington Peninsula
Regional Gallery's two former acquisitive exhibitions, the Spring
Festival of Drawing and Prints Acquisitive. Works may be in any
medium on paper. The paper must act as the main two-dimensional
support for the work. Photographs are excluded. $5,000 Bellura -
The Tallis Foundation Acquisition Fund for artists up to the age
of 35. Victorian Health Active for Life Award consisting of
$4,000 National non-acquisitive, $1,000 Regional non-acquisitive
