Help Your Parks

Contracting/Consulting

The National Park Service sometimes needs help with special projects or projects that require special expertise. This website is meant to provide information for contractors and consultants looking for contracting and consulting opportunities with the National Park Service related to natural resource management. Both parks and central offices contract for services such as doing research in a park, aircraft to do wildlife censuses, or consulting on environmental education materials for schools. In addition, Energy Saving Performance Contracts (ESPCs), which are authorized under the National Energy Conservation Policy Act, as modified by the Energy Policy Act of 1992, provide significant opportunities for making Federal buildings more energy efficient at little or no cost to taxpayers. Visit the Greening the National Park Service website for further information on Cutting Greenhouse Gases through Energy Savings Performance Contracts.

All federal government Requests for Qualifications and Requests for Proposals, including those posted by the National Park Service, are available on a centrally located electronic web-board called FedBizOpps (short for Federal Business Opportunities) that is available on the National Business Center website. Information on the use of FedBizOpps is available from the Harpers Ferry Center website.

The National Park Service's Servicewide Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Database contains Servicewide IDIQ Contracts. It has been designed to allow you to search by Contractor Name, State, NPS Office, Contract Category, and/or Keyword. The Harpers Ferry Center Office of Acquisition Management will update it in March and October of each year.
