Access to the Council of Europe

The types of visit offered 

Guided tours (one hour)

General introduction to the Council of Europe :
- a film show
- a visit to the chamber used by the Council of Europe’s Parliamentary Assembly,
- a discussion on the Council of Europe’s role and how the Council works.

Tour aimed mainly at groups of schoolchildren and visitors who want a general information

Languages : English, French and German.

Guided tours cannot be organised during Parliamentary Assembly sessions, generally the last week of January, April, June and September.

Study programmes

General introduction to the Council of Europe, followed by a specialised talk according to requests

During Parliamentary Assembly sessions, visitors can attend a debate in the assembly chamber.

The study programmes are aimed at visitors - teachers, lawyers, students in higher education, etc – looking for detailed information

Languages :

    - general introduction : French, English, German, and Spanish
    - specialised talks : all member states languages
