Smithsonian Teachers' Night

Mark your calendar! Smithsonian Teachers’ Night will take place at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum on Friday, November 2.

Smithsonian Teachers’ Night warmly welcomes educators of all subjects and grades to visit museums and use their vast education resources in the classroom. This festive, after-hours open house, held every autumn, gives teachers a chance to hear what’s new at the Smithsonian and meet Smithsonian educators and their colleagues from schools throughout the region. Participants take home free classroom-ready materials and information about field trips and programs available to students.

This event is free but requires registration, and every Teachers’ Night “sells out.” Be among the first to know when registration opens by subscribing to the e-newsletter Smithsonian Education News. Even if you can’t come to Washington, D.C., the newsletter will let you know about new web materials such as lesson plans and teaching kits.
