DOE Official to Discuss International Energy Cooperation at Center for Strategic and International Studies

WASHINGTON, DC – On Wednesday, July 11, 2007, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Assistant Secretary for Policy and International Affairs Karen Harbert will address the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Energy and National Security Program to highlight President Bush’s initiatives to advance global energy security and further international energy cooperation.  Assistant Secretary Harbert is expected to highlight U.S. leadership at the G8 Summit, the APEC Energy Ministers Meeting, the U.S. – China Strategic Economic Dialogue, and the International Energy Agency Ministerial.
