The
episode begins at a recycling plant crime
scene where an abandoned baby has been discovered.
Detectives Feely and Hernandez examine the
body and search for clues to the baby's and
mother's identities. Meanwhile veteran Detective
Louis Savarese (who has 108 tattoos on his
body depicting the history of murder) spends
his day off at a motorcycle and tattoo convention
in Coney Island. That evening Savarese catches
a new case - the violent stabbing of a middle-aged
man. The detectives get a break when the stabbing
suspect's parents reveal his identity and
convince their son to turn himself in. Back
at the homicide squad, the hunt for "The Brooklyn
Strangler" continues as detectives try to
positively identify the decomposed body of
the fifth victim. And, while Detective Savarese
takes the stabbing suspect's confession, the
other detectives attend an emotional funeral
for the abandoned baby.
