Climate Change Science Program To Issue Report on Greenhouse Gas Emissions Modeling
WASHINGTON, DC – On Tuesday, July 10, 2007, the Climate Change Science Program (CCSP) will hold a press conference call to discuss the release of the second in a series of 21 CCSP Synthesis and Assessment (S&A) Products. Coordinated by the U.S Department of Energy (DOE), this S&A 2.1 report is titled “Scenarios of Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Atmospheric Concentrations and Review of Integrated Scenario Development and Application”. It evaluates various stabilization scenarios for greenhouse gas emissions over the next century and resulting economic and technological impacts as well as explores the framework for developing climate scenarios.
