Daring Your Friends
"Daring Your Friends" is based on an actual courtroom trial. As they view and discuss excerpts from the trial, students will examine their beliefs about fairness, loss, and the implications of their choices and consequences. Students will learn more about our legal system and its role in their lives through group discussions, writing, and other activities. In addition, several videotaped segments of the trial will illustrate the emotion connected to the choices and consequences and the legal issues involved.
