Jim McCurry

Jim McCurry was born in Hawthorne, California, 10-3-43. He attended Knox College (B.A. 1965), Yale Grad. School (Woodrow Wilson fellowship, '65-66), Univ. of Illinois ('66-67), the USAF ('67-70), Uptown and South Side Chicago school of hard knocks ('70-71), Colorado State Univ. (M.A..'74) and Univ. of Denver (PhD, '85). Since 1980 he has taught in poetry and philosophy at Carl Sandburg College, Galesburg, IL. He took Refuge Vows in Boulder in December 1974. He edited and published Delirium in the Seventies. Here are two of his collages:
