X-MEN #200 GOES BACK TO PRINT

Press Release
Marvel is pleased to announce that due to the overwhelming demand, X-Men #200 will return to press with a variant cover featuring the interior artwork of Chris Bachalo and the former hero Gambit! Written by Mike Carey, with art by Chris Bachalo & Humberto Ramos, X-Men #200 not only kicked off the first chapter of Endangered Species, but introduced an all-new, all-deadly Marauders…who killed one of the most popular X-Men! After a quick sell-out at Diamond (though copies may be available at the retail level), fans have clamored for more X-Men #200 and once again Marvel delivers!

Critics continue to rave about X-Men #200. “Buy this book and read it. That’s it,” said Brant Fowler of SilverbulletComics.Com.

Aaron Stueve of BrokenFrontier.Com agreed, exclaiming, “Issue #200 brings you everything you could want in an X-Men comic.”

The X-Men are no more and the Marauders have taken over. Is this the end of the X-Men as we know them? And don’t miss the first exciting chapter of Endangered Species, kicking off the can’t-miss X-Men story leading into this fall’s Messiah Complex event!

big mistake... people really want that Finch cover!

The least they could do is use Mark Brooks' wraparound from the pin-up section...

True. As far as interior-art-as-a-cover goes, this is good, but I think people would make rather get a sketch of the Finch or maybe a combination of the X-Men vs. the Marauders covers.

If you wanted those you should have got the issues that are now sold out. Late comers don't get rewarded with as good or better for being late to the party.

This is a decent cover.

I'm not a fan of this whole "Interior Art for a Cover" thing we have going on. I think a Sketch of one of the 1st printing covers would have been a better idea.

At least they didn't pick the last page to put on the cover. Spoiler covers really annoy me.

Not really a fan of the variant cover, but I'm glad X-Men 200 sold well - it was a really cool issue.

I was telling my wife... how the finch cover would make a great poster...

then boom! bought it yesterday for 15 bucks...

for some reason i thought the finch was the variant... i guess the bachalo and ramos ones were the variant.

Strange... my LCS has at least 20-30 wraparound variants left but the two other individual covers are completely sold out... I guess $4 for a book isn't as sought after as two $3 issues?

Sadly, my LCS did not have any of the finch covers remaining... I ended up getting the variant, which is nice, but...

It would be kind of hard to show Cable's body when it was probably incinerated. I like the cover. Bachalo does good work, and it isn't messy or muddy like I keep hearing people complain about his art.

you know if this thing keeps selling like this, #200 will have enough variant covers to rival #100.

I'm guessing that even though before it was too dangerous for her to touch Wolverine and absorb the healing factor, it won't be too dangerous for it to happen in #201.

The solicits for #200 said someone would die. I dont think it was Rogue though, from what I'm hearing it was Cable.

I picked up all three covers, the Finch cover is one of the greatest things I've ever seen.

Why is this going back to print? Just because Diamond is sold out? A few LCS in my area still have at least 10 copies or more of the Finch Variant issue. Of course the two regular covers were gone within a day or two....
