Creating Your Wish List
After you sign on as a registered My Hollywood Video member, you can create and modify a Wish List of movies that you want to rent or purchase. Any time you run across a movie on our site that you'd like to add, simply click the add to Wish List button next to it. It will automatically appear on your Wish List. When a movie is on your Wish List, the add to Wish List button changes to display that the movie is on your Wish List.
To view your Wish List, click on the “My Hollywood Video” tab at the top of any page and choose “Wish List” from the dropdown menu. You can also access your Wish List by clicking the “Manage Your Wish List” link on the right side of the home page and several other pages on our site.
Searching for Movies to Add to Your Wish List
- Enter the title, actor, director, or keyword that you'd like to search for into the search box at the top of any page on our site.
- Select the appropriate search category from the dropdown menu.
- Click the go button.
- Click the add to Wish List button next to any movie in order to add it to your Wish List. An “on” button indicates a title is already on your Wish List.
Prioritizing Your Wish List
To change the priority of a movie on your Wish List, simply enter a new priority number in the text box and then click the update button. You may update more than one item at a time. The list will reorder itself and display in the newly prioritized order.
Wish List View Options
There are several ways that you can customize your Wish List. Your view options include:
- You can change the number of movies displayed on the screen by clicking either “15 per page” or “90 per page” at the bottom right of the page.
- You can view detailed movie information by clicking “Show Details” at the top of the page. Click “Hide Details” to view a condensed version of your Wish List.
- You can sort your Wish List by Title, Star Rating, Date Available, MPAA Rating (G, PG, PG-13, R, and NR), or Priority. Click on any of these in the “Display By:” bar at the top of your list. The list will automatically reorder itself.
Removing Titles From Your Wish List
To remove a title from your Wish List, simply click on the “Remove” link next to any movie title.
Printing Your Wish List
You can either click “Print” at the top of your Wish List, or simply select the print command from your browser's file menu. In both cases your Wish List will automatically reformat itself to a printer-friendly version optimized for standard 8½x11 inch paper.
Wireless Wish List Access
- You must have wireless Internet access from your mobile device and an existing My Hollywood Video account. Consult your wireless provider for details on how to use the Internet on your device.
- On your wireless device, navigate to http://www.hollywoodvideo.com/wireless/.
- Select the “View My Wish List” option.
- You will be presented with a sign in screen where you will be required to enter your username and password.
- Enjoy your Wish List!
