E-Gov

The Department of Energy e-Government Strategy continues to directly support the President’s Management Agenda, the Federal Lines of Business, as well as the Department’s core mission requirements by evaluating and applying new information technologies, modernizing the Department’s governance, unifying core applications through a secure environment, and simplifying access to energy related government services. The e-Government governance process, overseen by the Chief Information Officer, ensures that the Department’s internal e-Government efforts are consistent with the overall objectives of the President’s Management Agenda as well as the Department’s Strategic Plan. These efforts along with many other Departmental initiatives help DOE eliminate redundancies, reduce costs, and increase cyber security.
