March 25 is celebrated in Belarus as Freedom Day,
on this day Belarusian Democratic Republic (BDR) was formed in 1918. It lasted only one year and was defeated by Bolsheviks. The government of BDR is still in exile and serves as a beacon of freedom to Belarusians trapped under Lukashenka regime today. This year celebration of the Day of Freedom is planned in Kalinousky (Kastrychnitskaya) Square in Minsk, March 25 at 12.00. Belarusian KGB and government-run media have already started campaign of threats and intimidation to scare Belarusians into silence. The activists arrests are multiplying throughout entire country. You can support political prisoners in Belarus by sending them a card to prison with Freedom Day wishes. Today the archaic and inefficient Soviet style regime of Lukashenka is trying to salvage itself from nearing crash by borrowing billions from Russia, China and Europe (Raiffeisenbank, Austria). More and more Belarusians realize that there is no future on this route and come out to protest into the streets and squares. Support Free and Democratic Belarus!  Happy Freedom Day! Z Dniom Voli!
