hey hey hey..... fantasy Rpgs are the best in the fact that there is more honor in a sword than magic and a gun. I liked gothic the same way Rain1971 did. it was Highly cool in the fact that you couldnt just run around without worrying about getting your ass killed. you KNEW to stay out of the damn forest, or you KNEW to run, and you KNEW to keep you sword in its sheathe, because you were not invincible. hopefully they will keep that system and 2 more things...
1. create your own character. this should be a requirement. F*ck being han solo. be your own guy, like bioware's rpgs.
2. LAN/SPLITSCREEN. ok, splitscreen is hard, but I was playing that alien game from Pandemic (part 2) and so long as you dont stray too far, you could effectively play the whole game together. who loved Gauntlet?(the good ones, not the last one) those games proved that questing together was always fun. 2 worlds, I fear, are trying to go online-only. tats fine, I guess, but I like playing with my own peeps sometimes.... not finding eachother on live. as fun as it may be, that is.... |
