On behalf of the QC community, The Knight News would like to extend our deepest, heartfelt condolences to the families of those killed in the Virginia Tech shootings. We cannot even begin to fathom the grief of those confronted by such a sudden and evil tragedy.

The Academic Senate and Elections Committee would be committing a grave dereliction of duty if they do not move to throw out the results of this year's comical elections and call for new online elections. There must be serious consequences when election rules are blatantly violated.

Re: "A New POV on the Sean Bell Case" [March 29, 2007]. I respect Ange Loiseau's open- minded column with respect to the Sean Bell shooting. When so many who were not at the scene of the incident as it actually unfolded claim to know so much about it, my response amounts to absolute incredulousness as to the gleaming jewels of colossal ignorance that these know-it-alls betray themselves to be.
