Chapter 6: Results and Discussion

Results and Discussion
In the overview of sections 3, 4 and 5, 76 follow-up studies and eight reviews (dated 1961 to 1991) are represented. The chronologically arranged material will be summarized in this last section. The fundamental lines about how the questions have evolved and how the course of this 30-year-old research chronology have changed will be traced. With the changing questions, the methods have changed by which these queries had to be answered. Problems with methods and results insofar as they can be represented in a system will be discussed under the same aspects as the follow-up studies and reviews.
