So who is this guy, and why should you care what I think about anything?

I can't answer the latter question, but as for the former:

• I'm a 41-year old guy who is currently the Manager, Creative Communications for the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce in Naperville, Illinois, one of Chicago's biggest suburbs;
• I'm divorced with two wonderful kids;
• I'm a huge soccer fan and used to work for professional indoor and outdoor soccer teams in Indianapolis. Now I follow and do some work on the side for the Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer.
• Last summer I pitched for a 38+ men's baseball team;
• I spent several years as a radio and television sportscaster full-time, but now broadcasting is more fun as something I do on the side than it was as a career;
• I'm also a big fan of the Chicago Cubs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Tampa Bay Lightning, and if you see a pattern there, you're right---my teams are historically losers;
• I was briefly romantically linked with Jennifer Aniston (pictured at right), but it was too soon after her breakup with Brad and she really wasn't ready to commit. Plus, the paparazzi all over the place made it really tough to just go to Steak 'N Shake whenever we wanted to, you know?
