replica of a pit dwelling built of branches and adobe as
well as replicas of pueblos. Here we see the opening in the
roof of the pueblo.
Irrigation
Ditch The Lost City Museum is
located in Moapa Valley. Farming in the valley is made
possible by the miles of irrigation ditches. Water is stored
in a reservoir in the upper valley and reaches the farms via
the irrigation ditches. Many of these ditches are open as
seen in this photo of the ditch that runs through the museum
grounds.
