Llóyd Aéreo Boliviano S.A. LIDER CLUB Frequent Flyer Program welcomes you. We hope that being part of our Program makes the "DIFFERENCE OF FLYING WITH US". Flying to our destinations, the following advantages will be within your reach.
I Introduction Index
 
LIDER CLUB is the encouragement program for the Frequent Flyer of our LAB airline through which you are able to accumulate mileage and deserve awards such as: Free Tickets, Class Upgrades, Baggage Allowance and other additional benefits.
II Objective Index
 
LIDER CLUB is managed to award your preference for using our services, granting you with awards for accumulating miles over LAB routes.
III Basis of The Program Index
 
LIDER CLUB program operates within established parameters under the basis enumerated as follows, which must be also followed by each one of our associated passengers:
  1. Natural persons older than 12 years who fly over our National and International routes will be able to participate in the LIDER CLUB program.
  2. Each member will have an accumulation of miles and awards individual account, which is non transferable. Transfer of miles among accounts, is not allowed.
  3. All the routes operated by LAB accumulate mileage from Origin to Destination (according to assignation tables established by the program and regulated by IATA).
  4. The new system permits to offer you a better, fast and timely service facilitating the automatic credit of mileage for the flown segments upon only submitting your Membership card on making your reservation, issuing your ticket and at counters at the airports. Boarding passes are no longer the only valid documents to accumulate miles.
    Should you do not comply with the above mentioned paragraph. Lack of crediting miles over the flown segments will be the member’s absolute responsibility.
  5. The LIDER CLUB member must check that the Frequent Flyer Code must be printed on his/her boarding pass. This way he/she will guarantee accumulation of his/her miles.
  6. Whenever there are unforeseen situations, upon an analysis and a written request made by the member together with original documents requested by the Program. Within 3 months after the date in which he/she has used the service. As an exception, not included flights will be added in the member’s statement of account .
  7. In case of transfer to another airlines authorized by LAB, mileage corresponding to LAB segment will be recognized with a previous presentation of the Boarding Pass of such airline and LAB flight coupon.
  8. The LIDER CLUB partner, may benefit with Prize Ticket to:

    •   Relatives in first degree        -    husband / wife and children of cardholder
    •   Relatives in second degree   -    parents, brothers and sisters of cardholder

                    ** Upon presentation of Birth Certificate photocopy **.

  9. Awards include class upgrades in our services, one way tickets (OW) and round trip tickets (RT) according to the pre-established tables awards.
  10. The LIDER CLUB child member due to fare reasons will be able to award only to another child passenger.
  11. To request an award, one will not be able to add miles from different LIDER CLUB program accounts.
  12. LIDER CLUB program considers a member as an active one to that member who maintains a frequency of flights during 2 years.
  13. On the third year of inactivity in the frequency of flights, program will consider the member as a passive one and will annul his/her membership.
  14. With the purpose of classifying categories of members and according to the frequency of their flights. Identification credentials will be handed over to members of the program.
  15. When a member loses his/her membership card. Immediately he/she must inform to the company and a new one will be sent within three weeks, after the payment of $us. 5.00.
  16. LIDER CLUB will not be responsible for the robbery or lost of the membership card.
  17. Data provided by the member in his/her filing card, will be used only for the purposes of the program.
  18. Benefits offered by the associated companies will be subject to the terms and conditions determined by such company.
  19. LLOYD AEREO BOLIVIANO S.A. reserves the right to make amendments to the terms and conditions of the program that considers convenient, as well as to establish the effectiveness of the program.
PARTICIPATION TERM IN THE PROGRAM

Member’s participation in the LIDER CLUB Program will be terminated in the following situations:
  1. If a member does not comply with anyone of the mentioned Terms and Conditions.
  2. If he/she does not use the Membership Card, Awards, Miles and/or delivered benefits in a proper way.
  3. If the member consciously gives any incorrect or wrong information including information on flights, routes, dates.
  4. In case participation in the program is over. All accumulated miles will be cancelled and they will not be able to be exchanged with any other benefit.
IV Registration of Members Index
 
Application to enter the program is made by filling out the corresponding Registration Form, which is available in the LAB WEB Site. Entrance application must bear all the requested data with updated information. The simple information of requested data implies an acceptance of the LIDER CLUB Program Terms and Conditions.

Member upon filling out his/her affiliation entrance. He/she will be able to print a codified virtual membership card which will have an indefinite status and will be honored at all LAB offices and Travel Agencies in order to make different transactions.
Its the member’s sole responsibility to inform to the LIDER CLUB office in his/her country or station with regard to any change concerning his/her registration data in order to avoid detriments or distortions which could affect the effective development of the program.
V Category of Members Index
 
Categories of members are established based on assignation of three kinds of membership cards:

Classic Lider

When you first sign up for the “LIDER CLUB” Frequent Flyer Program, you will print your permanent virtual membership card which gives you the right to accumulate miles.
The effectiveness of this card is indefinite as of the date of its issue.

Gold Lider

This membership card identifies the Preferential Member of the Program. It is automatically granted to the passenger who accumulates 25 thousand miles during two years. It grants him/her the right to accumulate mileage, preferential attention at counters, facility on boarding and additional baggage allowance. The new scale will be applied according to the following detail:
  • National and International Route 10 Kgs. On the United States Route it will be applied 1 piece of additional 20 Kgs respecting established measurements.
  • The effectiveness of this membership card is for two years as of the date of its issue.
Platinum Lider

The excellence level for LIDER CLUB Program members is automatically reached upon accumulating 50 thousand miles during two years. It gives the member the right to accumulate mileage, access to VIP Lounge at airports where there is this service, attention at Preferential counter, facility on boarding, courtesy upgrade based on available space in our aircraft at boarding time and additional baggage allowance. The new scale will be applied according to the following detail:
  • National and International Route 50%. On the United States Route 1 piece of additional 30 Kgs. respecting established measurements.
  • The effectiveness of this membership card is for two years as of the date of its issue.
VI Accumulation of Miles Index
 
The measuring unit of the LIDER CLUB Frequent Flyer Program is the miles and the basic rule to accumulate them is the presentation of the Lider Club Membership Card. Miles are subject to the following terms:
  • Miles are not negotiable nor exchangeable for cash. They do not have commercial value.
  • They are non transferable.
  • They are not inheritable. In the event of member’s death the account will be closed and the mileage cancelled.
  • They are not subject of any legal effect neither juridical precaution.
  • Upgrades obtained as program courtesy credit miles according to the paid fare and not based on the class on which the member flies.
  • In order to grant awards. Two years is the effectiveness of the miles.
The following accumulate mileage under the Program:
  • Tickets issued with published fares.
  • Tickets issued by other airlines and flown with LAB.
  • Flights made in Business Class have an additional bonus of 25% of the normal established mileage.
The following do not accumulate mileage under the Program:
  • Free Tickets.
  • Tickets issued by LAB and flown by another Airlines.
  • Tickets issued as awards.
  • Tickets with discounts.
  • As an exception, it is stated that only miles which expiration does not exceed three months after the two years of effectiveness.
VII Granting of Awards Index
 
  • Awards will be handed over to members only at LAB offices upon physical presentation of their in effect membership card and the sufficient amount of miles for the requested award.
  • Before requesting an award ticket, member must make a valid reservation which must be made pointing out specifically, that it is a LIDER CLUB award.
  • The remaining miles reflected on the Award Delivery Agreement Receipt, is annulled according to the date of flights contained therein.
  • Upgrades will not be allowed on Award Tickets.
  • Delivery of awards is personal. As an exception awards will be handed over to a third person provides that he/she has a notarized proxy document granted by the member.
  • LIDER CLUB awards will be issued with the following prices:
Southamerican Routes                             USD. 30.-
Routes outside Southamerica                   USD. 50.-
National Routes issued abroad                 USD. 10.-
National Routes                                       BS. 50.-
  • Taxes imposed by the law, will be credited by the member or beneficiary of the award.
  • Once the corresponding award ticket has been issued, the price of it will not be subject to reimbursement under any circumstance. The corresponding miles will be credited to this award provided that they are in effect.
  • In the event of flights that require connection with aircraft exchange. Stay expenses at the connection place and any other associated expense will be the passenger’s sole responsibility.
  • Effectiveness of tickets issued as awards, is one year for their total usage as of the date of their issue.
  • During Low Season award tickets will be attended with positive space provided that they have a duly confirmed reservation.
  • During High Season, Carnival holidays (from previous Friday to Friday after the corresponding date), Holy Week (form previous Wednesday to Monday after the respective date), Líder Club award tickets will have the right to positive space provided that they have their duly confirmed reservation and with a previous additional increase of mileage established by the "Lider Club" program.
  • Lider Club member must make his/her reservation 15 days in advance.
  • It is not permitted issue of award tickets with open date (OPEN).
  • The issued award ticket is not negotiable. In case an irregularity has been proven in its usage. LAB reserves the right to confiscate the awards.
  • Award tickets will not be able to be combined with another promotions, discounts or special offers.
  • In any case award tickets can not be used in another company which is not LAB.
  • In the event of flight cancellation reflected on the ticket, oversale or any other problem of force majeure. LAB will do its best to board the member in the next flight.
Extension of Award Effectiveness

All the awarded "Lider Club" tickets will have a maximum validity of one year for their total usage as of date of their issue. Extension will by no means be allowed.

Change of Segment of an Awarded Ticket

There will be a net charge due to change of segment on International and National tickets in the amount of:

Southamerican segments                 USD. 50.-
Segments outside Southamerica       USD 100.-
National Segments                           BS. 80.-
Original awarded ticket effectiveness is maintained.

Change of Name of the Beneficiary's Awarded Ticket

Change of name will be possible with a net charge on International and National tickets, in the amount of:

Southamerican segments                 USD. 50.-
Segments outside Southamerica       USD. 100.-
National segments                           BS. 80.-
Original awarded ticket effectiveness is maintained.

In events of "Change of Segment" and "Change of Names", the effectiveness of the awarded ticket, will be the same as the original ticket; that is to say the date of issue of the Awarded Ticket will be maintained. The only authorized person to make these changes is the entitled member.
VIII Sale of Miles Index
 
If the LIDER CLUB Member already has 60% of the required mileage to request an awarded ticket, the remaining 40% can be bought in blocks of one thousand miles in the amount of $us. 35.- for each block. The rest of the miles will remain in the Member’s account.

IMPORTANT
Law taxes will be totally credited by the member in all the cases.
