Jim Sturgess finds a mentor in Kevin Spacey. Fresh off his role as The Other Boleyn Girl's George Boleyn, Sturgess has been tapped for the lead of the Spacey-produced card-counting flick about an MIT student who tries to beat the casinos in Vegas. Spacey might also star as the boy's guide in 21, which is based on the true-story bestseller Bringing Down the House. Director Robert Luketic looks to roll cameras in February.

Bryan Cranston has Fallen into the gates of Hell. The Malcolm in the Middle paternal unit is set to play Lucifer in ABC Family's four-hour follow-up to the July made-for-TV movie about a half-angel boy played by Paul Wesley. Rick Worthy and Fernanda Andrade return for the second go-round in the franchise adapted from Tom Sniegoski's books. The cast is currently holed up in Vancover, shooting for a summer 2007 airdate.
